I would like to thank those who gave to the Vanuatu
Appeals through charities such as Rotary, Salies, Oxfam, St Vincent's, United
nations etc. Thank you. Also to items which sent directly To Ms Heidi Bann and To McKenzie and
few other families which were devastated.. As they have working Postal
Addresses and they can pass on those items to their large families . Thank you.
I sent requests out to over ten thousand people and
businesses throughout the world through facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogger,
and person request to many through emails. To billionaires, millionaires, to
the entertainment industry to bands such as U2, Wolfmother, and film artists,
producers, directors, Hospitals, national libraries, Doctors Nurses, Builders,
Big W, KMART, Mining companies.. Yes I was that pain in the bum. Not one penny
was given to me to do such a thing. I been hassled, blamed, criticised and much
more. The reason I did this was to make aware of the plight, fight and life. I
did not wait for someone else to request support for Vanuatu . I asked..
Myself, I am just a pensioner who cares for those in
Vanuatu.
So far with people letting me know, over 1.83
million has been donated to the charities above, Through my sent request.
I have diplomas since 2006 ... For Screen and Media,
Production, Small Business, Music Business, Etc. I re- educated myself.
Although no one wants to employ myself as I have disability, myself.
I have found
requesting these donations is not problem as I also established ‘Educational
Books for the Pacific’ In 2004 and passed over the whole thing to Rotary in
full in 2009. They were books from libraries throughout Sydney. From nothing to
something.
Please take time to consider more about what can be
